How to play Sprout Party

Sprout Party is a free 3D board party game you play in your browser. Roll the die to walk the map, collect coins, buy Golden Sprouts, and face everyone in a quick minigame after every round. Here's everything you need for your first match.

Collect Golden Sprouts

Whoever holds the most Golden Sprouts at the end wins the party.

Coins buy them, and minigames win you coins and trophies.

A round

Everyone takes one turn on the board, then you all play a minigame together.

A match lasts 6, 12 or 18 rounds, then comes the Final Stretch.

Roll and walk

Roll the die and your Sprout walks that many spaces.

At a fork, tap an arrow to pick your way. The golden trail leads to the Golden Sprout, and the chevrons show which way each path runs.

Spaces

The space you stop on counts. Coin spaces pay coins, red Unlucky spaces take some, and Lucky spaces give coins or an item.

Item spaces hand you a gift, Event spaces shake up the whole board, and a Swap space trades places with a player you pick.

The Golden Sprout

Walk past it with enough coins to buy it: 20 coins, plus 5 for each one you already hold.

Short of coins, you still see the offer, greyed out. Once bought, it moves somewhere new.

The Wandering Stall

Walk past the stall to buy items with your coins, then use them before you roll.

Your bag holds 3 items, one of each. A gift that doesn't fit pays 6 coins instead.

The Bandit Camp

Stop on the camp to hire the bandits: steal 5 to 15 coins from someone for free, or pay 10 coins to duel them for a Golden Sprout (+5 for each duel they already faced).

A Shield in your bag stops the bandits.

Shortcuts

Some shortcuts charge a toll: the ladder costs 5 coins but is shorter than the free way around.

Bridges over the river rise and fall, so the best way can change.

Minigames

After every round, everyone plays a short minigame. Each one explains its controls before it starts.

1st place wins 2 trophies and 8 coins, 2nd 1 trophy and 6 coins, 3rd 5 coins, and everyone else still gets 4.

The Final Stretch

After the last minigame, everyone takes 2 more turns: coin spaces pay double and the stall has a sale.

Then 2 bonus awards each give a Golden Sprout, for things like the most minigame points or the longest walk.

Winning

Each Golden Sprout is worth 10 points, each trophy 1, and every 10 coins 1. The best score wins.

A tie goes to more Golden Sprouts, then more trophies, then more coins.
